Made with Love was launched in June 2015 as an entrepreneurship program to provide students with experience in making and selling handicrafts. Currently up to 10 students participate in the program and are employed for 2.5 hours a week during the summer to collaboratively create sellable merchandise. Students are 100% responsible for the marketing of their products and coordination of sales. Through the program students gain an appreciation of the labor market, insights into their own strengths as employable individuals, and learn how to create, finance and market a business. As their business grows, so will their employable hours and the number of participants. We also provide Financial Literacy workshops in partnership with local banks such as Santander Bank, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and Penn Liberty Bank.
